McCain is full of @#it, & a liar

boy, "the Maverick" is sure doing alot of fancy footwork
today. 1st he gets booed & heckled during a very stiff speech
commemorating the 40th anniversary of King's assassination.
then he tap dances around his own history of opposing the creation of a national holiday commemorating MLK. here's a very uncomfortable interview aboard the "Considerably Less-Than-Straight Talk Express".

even Jake Tapper at ABC gets in a jab:
In Arizona, a bill to recognize a holiday honoring MLK failed in the legislature, so then-Gov. Bruce Babbitt, a Democrat, declared one through executive order.

In January 1987, the first act of Arizona's new governor, Republican Evan Mecham, was to rescind the executive order by his predecessor to create an MLK holiday. Arizona's stance became a national controversy.

McCain backed the decision at the time.
