the Ballad of Shreve & Charlie

American history is peppered with legendary partnerships. Butch & Sundance, Frank & Jesse, Bonnie & Clyde. We should add to that list the names Shreve & Charlie. It’s a rare opportunity that one is allowed to witness such relationships grow & flourish. The very nature of these partnerships is that time is needed to merge reality & myth into legend.
But those of us who have been paying attention (& we are legion) to the tale of an orphaned coyote pup & the young woman who came to his rescue have been witness to a truly amazing story.
One that began with a cross country journey (Vespa Vagabond) & continues to unfold in the wilds of Wyoming (Daily Coyote). This week both Charlie & Shreve celebrate birthdays. I encourage everyone to head over & witness the story (in words & incredible pictures) for yourselves. Leave a nice birthday wish while you’re there.

This photo just about kills me! (Plus I like how this whole story brings out the sentimentalist in you, Kevin. I knew he was in there somewhere) :-).
